This auction is for a really neat vintage bowl by FOSTORIA. This bowl is listed in the book COLLECTOR'S GUIDE TO BLACK GLASS by Marlena Toohey, with 1990 guide, page 27, and valued at $40.00 at that time. Bowl is in great condition. There is teensy evidence of hard water marks in the corners, usually removed easily with Lime Away, but I'm out of it right now so did not remove it. There is one tiny nick on the inside edge of the top, shown in picture, no harm to me. No name for pattern, simply #2402, made in Ebony about 1929 and again in the mid-1950's.
