This is an Owens Pottery Company pedestal from a victorian Vaudeville theatre. This unusual item has a heavy gothic design with gargoyles and mystic faces. It's 33 inches tall. It's in choice condition with no chips, bites, scratching or unusual wear. Has normal wear on bottom and top. It's a mottled green color that is sort of finished like old Rockingham pottery and turns different colors with different colored lighting.
This may now be a one of a kind item as I've- till this day never seen anything like it. I came onto it as a door knocking antique buyer and have had it for about 10 years. This is for the pedestal only and there is no jardinere.
It's the pinnacle of rarity in choice condition.
