Manufactured by Fenton in 1985, this Carnival Glass Chiming Bell is done in their Highly Collectible "Garden of Eden" Pattern Mould, and like the "Garden of Eden" Plate, this Superb Carnival Glass Bell is Rare. The Base Color Glass is Royal Cobalt Blue but is Ablaze with Electric Iridescence! This Stunning Fenton Bell has all of the Characters from the Book of Genesis and then some! This Bell's Pattern is in High Relief and depicts Adam Eve and the Tree Of Knowledge. Eve is reaching for the Apple from the Tree of Knowledge as the Serpent is about to strike. Both Adam and God look on. Full of Drama Tension, this Spectacular Bell is Alive with Flora Fauna. Deer, Songbirds, Herons Elephants are all present. God however, Highlighted within a Halo-like Cartouche, is the Central Focal Point of this Contemporary Fenton Masterpiece. The Coloring of this Bell is So Sublime that Deep Within the Pattern, the Colors appear as if (pardon the expression) all Hell is about to Break Loose! This Garden of Eden Bell is awash with Every Color of the Electric Rainbow, with the Vines Branches from the Tree of Knowledge reaching all the way up the Handle towards the Sky! All photos were taken in the Natural Light of my kitchen window, both on a Black White Background. I tried to shoot it from as many angles as possible. This Fenton Garden of Eden Bell is Signed Fenton on the Interior of the Bell, which is 7" tall, with the Mouth of the bell being 3 1/4" wide. Oh, and it's heavier than ya think!
***Collectors Note: This Bell comes with the Original Fenton Paper Label the Original 1985 Price Tag.
The condition is Mint. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, flea bites, abrasions or loss of iridescence to this Garden of Eden Bell. According to David Doty and other research I have done, this Rare Bell is increasing in Value. I hate Reserve Auctions and I want to stay out of your way!
