A stunning piece for a Cambridge glass collector. This graceful glass bowl is made of transparent amethyst-colored glass. Three ruffles give the mouth of the bowl a triangular shape. The base is footed with glass beads. No chips. Slight scratches from normal wear do not detract from its appearance.
This was donated to the non-profit organization I work for, and I don't know much about it. The bottom of the bowl has a tiny triangle containing a ‘C’, which was used by the Cambridge glass company from the 1920’s to the 1950’s; the design may offer clues to its actual age. Measures about 4 ¾ inches tall and 10 inches at widest point. The base diameter is about 4 ½ inches. Weighing almost 2 lbs., it is sturdy and well-balanced.
I will ship to the United States only, when payment has been recieved. Because the proceeds from this sale will go entirely to the non-profit organization I work for, I will not accept returns.I will package the piece well and will insure the piece for the winning bid amount.
