This eye-catching vase from the Viking Glass Epic series is a mid-century classic. This is a tall version in a grass green of the “Stockholm” series designed by Wayne Husted after he left Blenko Glass. It is pattern #6964 and the color is called “Green Wet”. It measures 8.5” tall and is 6” across at the top. The “spikes” are in a five-pointed pattern. Unlike some vases from this “Stockholm” series, this piece does not have a frosted surface, but has a shiny, textured surface fresh from the mold. That combined with the variations in thickness make this piece really catch the light. The vase is in excellent condition, has no chips, cracks or scratches and shows no hard water stains inside. It really looks like it was never used. A gorgeous Modernist design ready for you collection or a bright bouquet!
