For your consideration and my home de-cluttering is a McCoy flower pot with attached saucer in great vintage condition. It is 4 5/8" in diameter and 4 1/4" in height. These pots produced in the 1970's were called Green Thumb with style 0372 stamped on the bottom (see 2nd photo). And here I thought it was some kind of Bamboo style!! There are some production flaw glaze "fleabite" pops that I gave up trying to photograph because they just look like part of the pattern. This pot is without cracks, chips, crazing, or water staining. Please find a home for my pot. I always find the best deal for shipping that I can, and I will combine shipping whenever possible and safe.
During the Auction: Please, if you find that I have miss stated something in my listing, TELL ME. I want to be accurate, and even more important, I would like to learn. I am grateful for your time and patience when you do help me. You may even sound condescending when providing your correct information, if you like.
Post Auction Details
(the fine print)
Paying and Shipping: The winning bidder must contact me within 72 hours and pay within 7 days. International winners MUST pay using PayPal. For domestic winners, I prefer PayPal, but accept money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks. I will HOLD shipping until your personal check has cleared. I am very good at packing fragile items. Insurance is MANDATORY for fragile items and is included in SH. I ship as quickly as possible, usually within 2 - 3 days. Please contact me if there is a rush in handling and shipping needed for your item. I will do my best to get it to you in time. I do NOT combine shipping on fragile items unless they are less than 3-inches in diameter. The heavier packages are at greater risk for breakage in my experience. I will combine shipping for sturdier and smaller items.
***As of November 12, 2008, I have decided that I must add a handling charge to my FRAGILE and PARCEL POST items that I sell. I am losing money because of the time, effort, and products I use to make sure that things don't get broken in transit. I suppose I could raise my auction starting prices, but I would rather keep those lower for now. The handling fee will be $1.00. I chose these two categories because they are the ones that take most of my time. With PARCEL POST items, I cannot print the postage at home on my computer. I must go in stand in line at the post office. The guys at the Post Office are beginning to know me too well. The extra time I take with packing FRAGILE ITEMS is 50% more than non-Fragile items. Yes, I timed myself a few times while I was doing the packing on various items. It was an interesting study that revealed already suspected results. Thank you for your understanding. I am not trying to become an eBay millionaire. I just use my eBay income to pay for my health care bills that are not covered by insurance, and there are quite a number of those. Folks outside the United States may not understand this, but here in the U.S, being chronically ill can be a touch and go situation for many people.
Disclaimer: All of my items are vintage or used. I offer them “as is” and describe them in the greatest detail with as many photos as I think it will take for the bidder to see what they are getting. Therefore I don’t offer refunds unless I have grossly misrepresented an item. The buyer must contact me immediately upon receiving the questionable item and a refund will be negotiated as appropriate. Usually that will include the return of the item in the original packing within 7 - 10 days.
Now let's talk about feedback: First of all, PLEASE LEAVE ME FEEDBACK!! If you have had a negative experience, contact me first. I am sure we can work things out to your satisfaction and mine. I believe that communication is the key to a good transaction. You may believe that "ANYBODY SHOULD KNOW THAT." However, I am not ANYBODY. I cannot read minds or guess what bidders are thinking. Email me or ask eBay to help you call me with questions, comments, and/or concerns. It is difficult to email folks within the last 24 hours of the auction. As I said I get things out quickly, especially if you indicate a rush of some sort. Please to do not give me feedback about slow shipping when it is out of my and your control. *As the holiday season draws closer, try to plan ahead. I know this is difficult as I have failed to plan very far ahead for most of my life, especially at the holidays. So help me help you and happy bidding. **A word for those serving overseas in the military: it is already getting late to ship items for Christmas using the Priority Mail APO/FPO Large Flat Rate Box, which is $10.95. I will send you anything I can fit into it safely. It is 12”x12”x5.5”. Many of my items with appropriate packing are too large for this box. I will do my best to find you the least expensive safe shipping method I can. If there is extra room in a box, let me know what else you might need from the Pacific Northwest, and I will see if I can fit it in. I have never been away from my large extended family and cannot imagine what it is like to be overseas in these tumultuous times (now there's a euphemism for you!) I am grateful that you are there protecting me. Thank you for your service and please take as good of care of yourselves as you do of all of us at home.
