A suberb art deco enamelled glass , made and designed by Marcel Goupy, measures 4"/10cm high. Signed on base with incised signature. In perfect condition.I can combine PP on both to save money. dating to the 1920's
Marcel Goupy 1886-1954, Painter , Silversmith and jeweller until 1909 , then he met Georges Rouard, who had recently opened the Maison Geo. Rouard in paris . Goupy became his artistic director until his death in 1954.Designed a vast catalogue of glassware and porcelain. Between 1918-36 he had his own atelier, producing distinguished glassware ,vases , bowls and other vessels.Was vice president of the glass jury at the Internationale des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris 1925.
