Up for auction is a lot of my grandmother's Royal Brocade. This auction is for a cup and saucer that both show obvious signs of wear. The saucer measures a little over 5 3/4 inches across and in the area where the cup sits is obviously worn with color rubbed off to some extent. The picture does not show this wear the way I would like it to but it is noticeable. The cup has 2 inches along the rim where there is wear to the gilding and it is rough to the touch. That wear is the white on the left side of rim in the picture. The marks on the bottom of both items say in upper case letters - Round Mark - "Lord Nelson Ware - Made In England" - "Royal Brocade" and Darker Mark - "BCM/Nelson Ware" - "Made in England" These type of items are new to me so please ask any questions.
