Description
This is a great 8 piece set of Fostoria Glass Footed Cup Saucers, 4 sets in all in the Azure (blue) color, with the June No. 279 etching. Each glass stands about 2 1/2 inches high, with 2 full representations of the June etching on each side of the cup. The saucers measure about 5 3/4 inches across with four June etchings. I have examined each item carefully, and they are in good condition, with NO chips, nicks, cracks, or anything else. The cups are in GREAT shape, but since they have been used, close inspection might reveal some extremely minor flaws. I did notice that on each of these glasses, there are some caffeine stains at the tip of some of the leaves etchings on one side near the top lip. I'm sure these can be removed, but because I do not want to harm the etchings with a harsh chemical, I will allow the winning bidder to remove these stains as they feel fit. The saucers are also in good condition, but close inspection with reveal some very very minor but still present scuffs on both sides. All are shallow enough that they could be polished out, and again they are not easily noticeable. I took additional pictures on a black background to emphasize the scratches so you could see them, but in normal situations you would have to look very close to see them. Since these items were hand made, each is unique and holds unique characteristics. These glasses are a beautiful example of American-made elegant glassware and they will look brilliant on your table or in your display case.
Please note: I will insist that all Fostoria items be shipped with full insurance, including international shipments. Insurance is already included in the shipping price you see. I will combine shipping costs, but can hold item no longer than a week to wait for other items on auction to end.

Shipping
All international packages will be shipped via the United States Postal Service. Domestic can be shipped either USPS or UPS. Insurance on all packages is available and recommended, but must be requested. I am not responsible for uninsured packages, or any problems that occur during shipping that are out of my control.
