Condition and description
I always try to describe items accurately and fairly, but cannot know all aspects that may be important to all bidders. Therefore, if you have any questions of any kind about the item(s), please ask me as soon as possible, so that I can try to get you an answer before the auction ends. If time (and Internet connection!) permits, I will email other and/or higher quality photos on request.
Please study my listing description and photo(s) carefully, as these are the basis for the sale and purchase. If in any doubt, please ask before you bid. Illustrations usually have clear margins on all sides, but I sometimes crop the photo to focus on the illustrated area.
Vintage adverts, cartoons, prints etc have usually been extracted from old magazines or books, which have been used/handled by readers/browsers over the years. It is normal that there will be printing on both sides of the page, although the rear printing does not usually show through to the front when mounted/framed.
It is also common for some "print transference" to occur, and/or for minor blemishes such as finger marks, small creases, rough edges etc to exist. Magazine covers (front and back) sometimes have the house number and/or resident's name handwritten in pencil or ink. Double page "centrefold" illustrations usually have small staple holes and a crease down the centre.

Shipping handling
Winning bidder is responsible for payment of shipping/handling charges at time of payment for item(s) won. The UK domestic and international shipping/handling charges shown include cost of postage and materials plus a modest handling charge.
Happy to combine shipment for multiple wins. NOTE - shipping charges shown for single sheet adverts/prints/cartoons (not for other items) are for any number of sheets/pages from 1 to 10, shipped in one combined package!
Adverts prints etc will be shipped inside proper postal mailing tubes, or flat packed with card/similar support, depending on size of item and materials available. Other items will always be packaged carefully, in appropriate envelopes/boxes/other packaging. I pack carefully, but shipping is at winning bidder’s risk. Packages are not insured unless requested and winning bidder has paid insurance.
This is not a business, and so I only go to the post office, bank etc 1 or 2 times per week. If you are in a hurry, please contact me in advance to find out how quickly I will be able to ship.
Payment
Payment to be received promptly at auction end. Payment preferred by Paypal. UK £ postal order, UK £ bank cheque (approx 2 week delay) also accepted. No credit cards / money orders / non UK cheques. Winning bidders with less than 10 feedback rating to pay by Paypal or UK £ postal order only
