This Teapot is my collection,which handed down from my
grandfather in 1930.
Lacquer Thread Sculpture is the glorious folk handicraft in the area of Minnan(Amoy,South Fujian)in China,

Lacquered thread sculpture mainly uses materials from original brown Zisha clay,natural plants, purely
handcrafted with a privately taught skill, the procedures have stripping,coiling, twisting, piling, carving,
engraving, cutting etc,
Manufactureall together several dozens. Each piece could cost several months or even years of
professional work to create various kinds of elegant and projecting textures. The entire
surface of figures is coated with 98.9% 24k gold foil to retain the original luster.
