CROWN TUSCAN Pink Milk Glass FAIRY LAMP ~ SHABBY CHIC
Gorgeous! Crown Tuscan Pink Milk Glass Fairy Lamp is in perfect condition and measures 3 1/2" tall x 3" wide.
Hand Painted with delicate Pink Roses interspersed with Baby's Breath. Mint Green leaves surround and accent arrangement. Hand signed by Artist.
Two pieces consisting of a Crown Tuscan Pink Milk glass base dusted with Iridescence and hand painted shade. Base will easily hold a votive or scented tea light candle.

Fairy Lamps were originally used in the 1800's during courtship. When the Fairy Lamp candle was lit the young lady was available for visits from suitors. Alas, when the candle burned out the visit was over.
However ..... a few enterprising young men would carry a spare candle in their pocket placing it in the lamp at the opportune moment. When Elders came to check on the young couple .. they discovered a "Fairy" had rekindled the lamp!!
Fairy Lamps have a delightful history and would highlight any collection!
