For your consideration, a collection of information on glass plants and flowers created by Leopold and Rudolph Blaschka and housed at the Ware Collection, Botanical Museum, Harvard University. One is 5 3/4" x 8 1/4", 12 pages published by Harvard in 1943 titled The Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants in the Botanical Museum of Harvard University," and contains text and some color photos. Another is 5 1/2" x 8 1/4", 12 pages, titled "how Were the Glass Flowers Made?" which is a letter written by Mary Lee Ware and includes a photo of Rudoph Blaschka. The third piece is a new unused booklet of postcards, "Nature's Wonders in Glass: The Art of the Blaschkas - 12 full-color postcards," ISBN 0-87290-125-4, plus there a 3 unused loose postcards included (15 new postcards in total). All 3 items are clean, unmarked and complete. Interesting for the collector, glass enthusiast and craftsmen, as well as historian.
