We will be out of town Sept.2-5 and if we can not answer your questions from there we will when we return. Here are two pieces of chocolate glass and a souvenir custard glass creamer. The creamer is related to mining and is titled Steam Shovel at work Chapin Mine Iron Mountain Mich. Measures 4 1/2" high, wear to the gold border, no chips or cracks. There is a chocolate glass piece that measures 2 3/4" high and 2 1/2" in diameter. The owner had it labeled as a child's open sugar, but seems like a toothpick holder, not sure. Inner edge is a little rough, original or very small flecks maybe, one chip on the outer edge. The larger piece is a biscuit jar that measures 8" high. The base is cracked but only slightly visible on the outside, some small flecks on the inner edge of the lid. Please read the following information before bidding. We are selling antiques and collectibles and used or older items which will have imperfections, wear, minor damage, sometimes odors, or other age or use related issues. It is not possible to note every scratch, wear area, fleck, glaze pop or miss, loose thread, faded area, rust spot, etc. If you are expecting perfect or mint or unused items you should not be looking at our auctions, that is not what we sell. We print labels with the postage and insurance we paid showing and we state for each auction the packing material/handling fee up front, so buyers can be assured there is no extra padding in the shipping price. We take pride in our packing, many items are double boxed, and we ship same or next day. The packing material/handling fee for this auction is 4.00. We believe the ability to answer questions and add photos when asked is more important than being exact on a shipping quote, so it is not really possible to pre-pack to be exact on size and weight in order to fill in the shipping calculator, all we can do is guestimate. However, some auctions, until packed and weighed, are too hard to even guess at - china sets, huge box lots, extra fragile items, etc., so if necessary we may have to prepack some auctions and unfortunately not answer some questions. PAYMENT DETAILS: PAYPAL OR U.S. POST OFFICE money orders only. Payment due within 7 days of auction end. QUESTIONS: Items are consigned and are described to the best of our ability with the information we have. If something is not clear, don’t guess or assume, please ask. If we are not familiar with an item we may not know if some detail is important we did not think to mention, if something is missing, or if it is "right", and that lack of knowledge is not an attempt to deceive. Photos are part of the description. Some box lots are not described individually in order to list with no reserve and a low starting price, but we will try to answer questions about a particular item you see in a box lot if possible. SHIPPING: DO NOT PAY UNTIL INVOICED PLEASE! Doing so may cost you more in shipping than you would have owed for the following reasons! First, we pass on the discount we receive for purchasing labels online, the shipping calculator does not give you that discount. Second, estimated box size and weight will be on the high side as a caution to make sure we do not lose money (items are not ours, we only make a small percentage of the sold price, and we prefer to stay in business), so if applicable adjustments will be made after the auction is over and we have packed, occasionally it may be higher than guestimated. Third, for boxes over 2 lb and 12x12x12 Fed Ex is often times less than parcel post so when we invoice it may be an option that saves you money, give us time to check that option, since Fed Ex is not a choice on the shipping calculator. Paypal requires signature confirmation for anything over 250.00, so we require it also. The auction sold price is the only amount that will be used on insurance or customs forms. If an item can not be insured to your country for the auction price or it is prohibited to ship that type of item we may have to sell to the back bidder, it is your responsibility to know your country's limits and restrictions. LOCAL PICK UP is always welcome but if the item is packed buyer will have to pay the packing materials/handling fee stated in the auction. DAMAGE/RETURN POLICY: If you receive a damaged item either party can start a claim, do not throw away the box or packing materials until it is inspected. If you receive an item and it is significantly different than we described, contact us within 3 days of receipt so that we can reach an agreement we are both satisfied with. Items returned must be done so with insurance and delivery confirmation. SALES TAX will be invoiced for all NY state buyers unless a resale number is provided.
