Depression Era Royal Ruby Cup & Saucer This lovely ensemble is in good condition; the Cup has no chips, cracks or repairs, the Saucer has a chip on the rim (quarter-inch, shown in picture below). The Cup measures just under 2.5 inches tall and the Saucer has just over a 5.75-inch diameter. The Hocking Company produced Royal Ruby pieces starting in 1938.
