Offered are a set of four vintage Morgantown lead glass tumblers that measure 3.5 inches tall at their backsides by 3" wide and long. The fronts of each example measure 2.5" tall, while each glass's black foot measures almost 2.5" in diameter. Each member of the set is in great condition with no chips, cracks, fleabites, crazing, stains, scratches, signs of excessive use or abuse or damages of any kind. In fact, it does not appear as if these interesting glasses have ever been used. Each glass shows a nice 1960s design. I see that each piece has a slanted front. It is possible, and quite easy to drink from these glasses. I assume that the set are examples from Morgantown's Cosmopolitan Slant top line. The glasses have a nice ring, so they have a lead content, and I see evidence of handmaking on the bottom of each piece. I am not sure who designed this line for the company, but the glasses look very Russel Wright to me. No Reserve. Please don't hesitate to E-Mail with any questions.
