Consequently, Wright sought a pottery making high-fired vitreous china for his second dinnerware pattern,
hoping to find a body with thermo-shock properties that could be marketed as oven-to-table ware. Wright introduced Casual China in 1946, and was available in Sugar White, Lemon Yellow, Ice Blue,
Nutmeg, Avocado Yellow, Parsley Green [later Forest Green] Oyster, Charcoal, Ripe Apricot,
Pink Sherbet, Lettuce Green, Cantaloupe, Aqua, and Brick Red.
