2 Sets of Vintage Platinum Rim Ruby Cups Square Scalloped Saucers
A beautiful pair of ruby red cups with matching saucers with platinum rim. The cups stand 2 1/2 inches tall and are 3 1/2 inches across the mouth. Each cup has six panels and an open handle. Minute wear to the silver rim and base. No chips, nicks or scratches. The saucers are 5 1/2 inches square scallop with the same silvering around the rim. The underside base is ground and polished and there is minimal wear to the platinum edging. None of these pieces is marked. Each saucer has a few tiny shallow scratches from stacking.

We have over 2000 items listed for scheduled auctions. No two items are the same, it would be impossible to wrap and box every item. I don't have the room to store 1000's of boxed items. I do not wrap, pack and box until the item has a bid or am asked for a shipping quote. I want to ship my items at the most reasonable cost available, that's why I try to give the buyer several options. I charge the buyer the EXACT shipping cost and a $1.00 handling fee per auction. International auctions will be charged a $5.00 handling fee. NO HIDDEN FEES. I am always happy to combine items for shipping to save on the cost. The correct shipping cost will be added to the invoice at close of auction.
PAYMENT OPTIONS: Payment options are Pay Pal, money orders or personal checks. Payments must be made by the 7th day after the end of auction.
SHIPPING: IT IS ADVISABLE TO ADD INSURANCE SINCE I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS IF INSURANCE IS NOT TAKEN. COMBINED SHIPPING: I am always happy to combine on the shipping cost. SHIPPING COST: As you can see I list over 100 items a day. It would be impossible to wrap, box, and weigh every item before they have been bid on. I almost never have 2 items the same, every item is different and weighs out different. Every box weighs different except for the Post Office boxes. I always try to give my customers several options, so you can choose the method of shipping. I am always happy to combine auctions won to save on the shipping cost. I will try to answer all questions about the shipping cost as soon as possible. Just ask. I have the Post Office print the shipping cost on the label so you can see the shipping cost is for what was invoiced. I charge the ACTUAL SHIPPING COST plus $1.00 for each auction won. I am happy to combine shipping on items that are safe to ship together. I hope this explains why there is no shipping calculator on my auctions.
I do my absolute best to describe items accurately. But, I am not an expert on anything. Please do not bid unless you really want thisd item and can pay for it. I have learned from my mistakes and I will re-list an item and absolutely leave negative feedback for deadbeat bidders. I do not accept returns unless I have grossly misrepresented the item and in that case item must be returned in 7 days in the exact condition I mailed it out. Unfortunately, we cannot refund the Shipping Cost as that is already an out of pocket expense for us.
For those of you who don't know in the early 70's my mother and I had an antique shop in Pomona Calif. We were forced to close the shop in 1984 when my father passed away and move out to my mothers property. After all these years of moving hundreds of barrels and boxes around we decided to start selling on ebay. I am trying to consolidate possessions my mother had been collecting all of her life. We are in the process of clearing out many of her storage buildings and garages on her 3 acres. All these items have been packed and not looked at for over 35 years.
